LIBR and the Blue Point Brewery are Both 10 years old this year! Head Brewer Alan Brady donated the proceeds of the "Dunk the Brewer" Event at the Brewery's 10 yr celebration, to help LIBR help Bulldogs in need, in memory of his Bulldog Jester.

Long Island Bulldog Rescue was a guest on The Martha Stewart Show!

Ramona, an adoptable Bulldog stole the show. There were Rescue Bulldog, Show Bulldogs, Family Bulldogs & even some French Bulldogs.

A fun day was had by all!

Sad note, both Ginger and Ethyl passed away this Spring. They will be missed forever. They were great Bulldogs, and wonderful ambassadors for their breed.

We were invited by The Mayor’s Alliance to participate in the AKC Responsible Dog Ownership day event in NYC. Two of our Rescue Bullies really were a big hit…Ethyl and Ginger entertained the crowds, and we were able to go about our business of educating humans about Bulldogs. Thanks to Dave and Ying Hudson, Sue Jacobsen and Joy Weeeng for helping make the day a success. Look for pictures on our web site.
